Mountain View RV Resort is nestled in the scenic North Georgia Mountains, on 100 acres surrounded by Coosa and Anderson Creeks and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, or enjoy outdoor activities such as golf, kayaking, white water rafting or fishing, there is something here for you. The area abounds with scenic mountain vistas, fabulous waterfalls, and great hiking trails. Bring your motorcycle and travel winding mountain roads and enjoy the spectacular scenery! Three miles from downtown Historic Blairsville, you'll be close to Lake and Stream fishing, Golf courses, Shopping, Restaurants, and many other activities and services. Just a few short hours away are such major metropolitan areas as Atlanta, Chattanooga, Asheville, and Greenville, S.C.
Mountain View RV Resort has many surrounding areas of interest. The Georgia Mountain Fair, held at the Fairgrounds in nearby Hiawassee in mid-July, draws over 300,000 people. John Campbell Folk School offers a variety of classes for arts and crafts. Lake Nottely offers boating, fishing and other water sports. The Appalachian Trail and all its beauty is just 14 miles away. Six area golf courses surround the area. Brasstown Bald, the highest point in the state of Georgia, is a short drive from the resort.
Mountain View Village is the heart of the Resort. The log-sided buildings include the Welcome Center/Sales Office, Clubhouse, Owner's House, and Bathhouse/Laundry. The pool and jacuzzi spa with their own waterfall are set in the center amidst the buildings, as is the Gazebo and the beautiful double-sided waterfall. Each of our large RV sites comes equipped with concrete pad and full hook-ups. Each is Big-Rig accessible, and we have room for your Toy Box. At present, we have two log-sided cabins for sale and each is adjacent to a concrete pad with full hook-ups.
